All for One and One for All!!!

     I am SO sore today!!! I stuck to my healthy eating habits today and I couldn't be prouder of myself!! I have even tried to get the kids into it .  .  . which isn't easy when preaching to a teenage boy and preteen girl who acts 16!!! I just tried to stress the importance of looking at serving sizes and boy were we surprised by the amount of calories in some of the serving sizes of foods we eat/ate everyday.  For example cinnamon and brown sugar pop tarts that my kids eat all of the time are 420 calories for two!! The Berry Crunch cereal they eat most mornings, suggests a serving size of 3/4 a cup for 120 calories!  And there is no way that they eat 3/4 cup! 
     I have decided that I have to stick to this healthy eating plan and the only way I can be successful is to drag the family along.  I think it will benefit them and it will benefit me to do this together!  So, after eating a healthy breakfast and healthy lunch we went swimming for over an hour!  After having a yummy home made vegetable soup for dinner we went on an hour long bike ride that ended up being about 5 1/2 to 6 miles long.  I am so pooped tonight but at the same time it feels good!  Obviously I am not one who enjoys exercise .  .  . there is no way that I could have gotten to 340lbs. if I did, but I am beginning to enjoy sweating!! Ewww I know what a very unladylike thing to say, but it is true . . . it feels good to exercise and sweat because I know that it is making me healthier and helping me become the person I want to be!!!

I don't think there is anything UNladylike about liking sweating. It means that you're in tune with your body...and that you like moving it.

Thank you!!! I always hated sweating but knowing that it means I am making positive steps in the right direction I love it!!!
